Recipe of the Week: Fat Burning Cleanse Smoothie



  • ½ ruby red grapefruit
  • 1 handful of kale, chopped
  • 1 cup  coconut water
  • 1 celery stick
  • 1 Cleanse Blendie


  1. Combine the grapefruit, kale, coconut water and Blendie in the blender. Blitz until smooth.
  2. Place the celery stick in the glass and nibble as you drink your smoothie!

Grapefruit – helps improve insulin release (better control of hunger and moods) and evidence for weight loss in those with metabolic syndrome and is also high in antioxidants.
Coconut water = hydration.
Kale = antioxidants.
Matcha green tea metabolism booster.
Celery – when chewed helps to boost metabolism and makes you feel less hungry. Fibre. Protein.

      thanks for getting in touch. Was just consulting with Alanna about your question, she recommends swapping the grapefruit for an apple. Hope that helps 🙂
