Recipe of the Week: Hydration Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cleanse Blendie
  • ½ cup honeydew melon, peeled & seeded
  • ½ cup pineapple, peeled
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • ¼ cup ice, optional

Method:

  1. Combine ingredients in a blender and blitz until smooth.

Notes:

 

  • Melons and pineapple are hydrating and refreshing as they contain a very high water content.
  • Coconut water contains electrolytes to replace those lost when you are dehydrated, through sweat and exercise
  • Good hydration is important for all bodily processes
  • Ensuring you get enough water will also help you feel fuller throughout the day
