Recipe of the Week: Wake Up Smoothie

Equipment:  Blender

Ingredients:

  • 1  Active Blendie
  • 1 banana
  • 1 shot of espresso
  • 1 cup milk

Toppings:

  • 1 medjool date, chopped

 

Method:

  1. Combine the ingredients in a blender and blitz until smooth. Top with the date

 

Notes:

  • The combination of cacao and coffee will help you wake up, focus and concentrate.
  • A great post exercise smoothie

TIPS:

  • Add a scoop of cacao protein powder for an extra boost of protein
  • Add some natural oats for a bigger hit  of fibre
